Electing a True Conservative Majority In The House

A fresh voice for conservatives in Congress!

For far too long, we've allowed ourselves to sit idly by and watch as friends and supporters have done battle day in and day out against liberal bloggers, pundits, and most of the national media. Now it's our turn to have our say.

We are the House Conservatives Fund, an organization dedicated to the principles of Reagan Republicanism and those candidates who recognize that these are exactly the values we need in Congress today. If you listen to our opponents, the so-called "moderates" (better known as Rockefeller Republicans or simply RINOs), we don't play well with others. We make things difficult when we ask questions like "Is this really necessary?" or "Why can't this be done on a smaller budget?"

And our Members are having an impact. Recent discussions on earmark reforms, immigration, and the defense of traditional marriage have featured our Members prominently. We now boast more than 100 Members on the Republican Study Committee, the single largest ideological caucus in Congress. More and more Republican Members are joining in our efforts to shrink government and increase individual freedom in this country.

Which is exactly why the House Conservatives Fund was created in the first place. As a Political Action Committee, we seek out strong conservative candidates across the country. We want to help ensure that Republican voters have a true conservative representing them on Election Day - not a squishy Republican In Name Only who will cave to Democrats time after time despite the fact that we have majorities in both the House and the Senate!

For now, thank you for visiting our new blog. We welcome your comments (including your criticisms) on our issues, our endorsements, and our approach to electing a true conservative majority. And if you know of candidates we should be watching, please let us know!
