Yesterday, the Republican Study Committee voted behind closed doors to make Congressman Jeb Hensarling of Texas their chairman for the 110th Congress. He succeeds Congressman Mike Pence, who has done much to increase the visibility of the RSC as a force for true conservative principles in Congress. Patrick O'Connor of the Hill has a great report today on the outcome of the race and Hensarling's goals for the RSC in the minority.
