"Hot Ticket" is a regular feature in CongressDailyAM, a National Journal publication that is distributed to Congressional offices and is available by subscription to anyone who wants to stay aware of what's happening in Congress. It profiles interesting and exciting events, including fundraisers, concerts, and other activities that go beyond the typical meet-and-greet style events.

On Thursday evening, Congressmen Tom Feeney, Ron Lewis, and Geoff Davis, will be hosting a tasting of fine Kentucky Bourbons conducted by a representative of Beam Global brands. It will feature several of the top-selling brands, and it will be a formal tasting, with a presentation on what makes a bourbon a bourbon, how to taste bourbon, and the differences in flavor profiles among the brands tasted.

This is certainly a "hot ticket," as seating is limited and this sort of event doesn't come along too often in Washington.
