By a vote of 5-4, the Supreme Court has ruled that opponents of the Partial Birth Abortion Act of 2003 "have not demonstrated that the Act would be unconstitutional in a large fraction of relevant cases." (Credit to Justice Scalia for his words, taken from the majority opinion).

In a press release from the Susan B. Anthony List, a group that champions the rights of the unborn and those legislators who support them, President Marjorie Dannenfelser said:

"Today's decision by the Supreme Court is a great victory for the well-being of mothers and the lives of their unborn children. Since 1973's Roe v. Wade decision, there has been an enormous gap between public protection for the unborn and laws reflecting this support."

This is truly a victory for pro-life advocates across the country.
