"In key districts like this, we need true conservatives like Hackett."
WASHINGTON, DC - After careful consideration of the qualifications and statements presented by the two Republican candidates in Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District, the House Conservatives Fund (HCF) is proud to endorse Chris Hackett as the candidate who best represents conservative principles and who is most likely to prevail in the November general election for this historically Republican seat.
As a business owner and a CPA, Hackett understands the economic challenges facing our country, and he is committed to reducing wasteful spending and inefficient regulations while working to break Washington's addiction to pork-laden earmarks. His dedication to the defense of individual rights - to life, property, and the Second Amendment - is truly impressive.
"Chris Hackett is the kind of candidate we love to see," said House Conservatives Fund Chairman Tom Feeney. "Frankly, we don't have enough Members of Congress with backgrounds in economics like his, who not only understand why reducing the size of government and the scope of federal intrusion is important, but who can also explain it to the rest of us. In these times of economic uncertainty, with the Democratic leadership failing to offer real solutions, we need Congressmen whose positions come from real-world business experience."
Feeney went on to praise Hackett's commitment to conservative principles as a great fit for the 10th District. "In key districts like this, we need true conservatives like Hackett to show constituents that Republicans are committed to their core principles of limited government, decreased taxation and individual rights. With Hackett as our nominee, voters can once again be proud to support a Republican in November who truly reflects their values."
The House Conservatives Fund is a non-connected federal PAC which supports Republican candidates and incumbents who demonstrate a commitment to economic and socially conservative issues. HCF advocates fiscal responsibility, limited government intrusion into the private sector, strong defense, and traditional family values.
