"...An admirable record of service to local families in both the public and private sector."

WASHINGTON, DC - The House Conservatives Fund (HCF) today announced its endorsement of John Stone in the race to challenge John Barrow for Georgia's 12th Congressional District.

Stone's history as a senior aide to both Charlie Norwood and Max Burns provides him with the background and experience to immediately have an impact in Washington, and his commitment to conservative principles (like those of his former employers) makes him an ideal alternative to Barrow in this historically conservative district.

"John Stone offers an admirable record of service to local families in both the public and private sector," said Congressman Tom Feeney, honorary chairman of the House Conservatives Fund. "His experience working for the people of Georgia with Congressmen Norwood and Burns has prepared him well to serve as their next Representative."

In addition to his work in Congress, John Stone has previously served as president of the US Freedom Foundation, an organization dedicated to the defense of individual freedoms and economic opportunities for middle-class Americans. He continues to make economic issues a cornerstone of his campaign along with national defense and traditional family values - all important issues to House Conservatives.

"With John Stone as our nominee, we are in a great position for the general election," continued Feeney. "When voters are given a choice between a true fiscal and social conservative Republican and a Democrat with a history of support for the Pelosi agenda, it's an easy decision. We look forward to welcoming John Stone to Washington in the 111th Congress."

The House Conservatives Fund is a non-connected federal PAC which supports Republican candidates and incumbents who demonstrate a commitment to economic and socially conservative issues. HCF advocates fiscal responsibility, limited government intrusion into the private sector, strong defense, and traditional family values.
